Patient’s way? My way? Or the Highway?
An individual walks into a dental clinic for resolution of his/her dental issues. The dentist examines the person. Notes down the findings. Thereafter, the dentist explains the recommended treatment options. The dentist also explains the other findings in the mouth and puts across the possible solutions for the same too. The patient responds by requesting the doctor to attend to the existing problem only and leave the other issues as they are, since they are not bothering him/her. What should be done in such a situation?
